The Physician Payments Transparency Requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (codified at 42 U.S.C. 1320a-7h) and implementing regulations, require [J&J] to annually report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) certain information about payments and transfers of value provided directly or indirectly to Covered Recipients, as that term is defined in implementing regulations. As required by law, Company will collect and report to CMS information about payments or transfers of value Company provides which CMS will make publicly available.
